Michael Johnson - President
We are delighted that Michael Johnson, Chief Executive of the British Printing Industries Federation (BPIF) has accepted our invitation to be our President for 2009.
Michael brings invaluable industry skills to the role. He served in the Royal Navy for 31 years, retiring as Commodore in 1996. He held numerous naval commands, including the restructuring of the Devonport Naval Dockyard to create a more competitive organisation.
His distinguished naval career was followed by three years as Chief Executive of the Sports Industries Federation, turning it into a dynamic organisation supported by the industry’s major players. He joined the BPIF, the printing industry’s trade association, in 2001 as Chief Executive.
