The Printing Charity - Helps
Over the last three years alone The Printing Charity has given away more than £1m to people who have approached us for help. Whilst this is a massive amount and has made a real difference to the quality of the lives of our beneficiaries we want to do more! The overriding aim of The Printing Charity is to help more people. Future developments therefore, are focussed on this purpose. Rising unemployment and the ‘credit crunch’ means that times are tough and the printing and publishing sectors have been severely hit. The Printing Charity wishes to continue to focus its efforts on those whose income is at, or below the 60% median of income, in line with the Charity Commission’s guidance on the relief of poverty. Additionally we will use our Selection Criteria and discretion to consider all applications to the charity in order to alleviate hardship whether economic, social or emotional.
