Our speaker this year is Alan Samson of Weidenfeld & Nicolson. He will be linking his anecdotes of working with celebrities to a tour of the new challenges for publishers in the digital age.

Regarded as one of the UK’s leading publishers, Alan joined Weidenfeld & Nicolson in 2003 after 12 years working for Little, Brown.  He enjoys publishing history, politics, sport, A-list celebrities, literary fiction and idea-driven books of all kinds.  His list of non-fiction authors includes Julie Walters, Helen Mirren, Sean Connery, Antony Beevor, A.A. Gill, and Keith Richards.

Alan has also published books by David Hockney, Edwina Currie, John McEnroe, and Nick Leeson, as well as Anita Shreve, Edna O’Brien, and Orange Prize winner, Valerie Martin.

Don’t miss this annual networking event for everyone in the printing and publishing industries.
