Neil Lovell – Chief Executive & Secretary
Neil has a background in commercial and not-for-profit organisations. He joined the charity in February 2016 to bring focus to the charity’s future direction and strategy and leads our Senior Management Team. He is a former CEO of the Jamie Oliver Foundation.
Simon Evans – Interim Head of Finance
Debbie Beck – Head of Welfare & Wellbeing
Debbie joined the charity in September 2014. Chartered Manager (CMgr) and member of the Chartered Management Institute (MCMI), Debbie has worked at a strategic level in the public sector. A member of our Senoir Management Team, Debbie is responsible for our Welfare & Wellbeing, including our financial grants system and sheltered homes provision.
Tabitha Northrup – Head of Compliance & Central Services
Tabitha is an experienced charity operations and governance manager and sits of the board of an adoption charity and a local social enterprise. Tabitha is responsible for managing our charity compliance and central services and is a member of our Senior Management Team.
Sophie Kirby – Project Manager
Rosie Alston – Education & Partnerships Officer
Rosie joined the charity in October 2016, having previously worked at other charities including the YMCA. She has a strong passion for education, which is shown through her work as our Education and Partnerships Officer. She is the first point of contact for our Print Futures Awards programme.
Lucy Phillips – Events and Marketing Co-ordinator
Lucy recently graduated with a degree in English and has been working for the charity since September 2016. She organises and is the contact point for our events, including our AGM and Annual Luncheon.
Lara Murphy – Welfare & Administration Co-ordinator
Lara joined the charity in February 2017 as Team Support and is now a member of our Welfare & Wellbeing Team, dealing with grant applications and our two sheltered homes. Prior to joining the charity, Lara worked as a legal assistant for three years before studying for a Masters in Conservation at UCL.
Jo Forrest – Welfare & Wellbeing Officer
Jo joined in September 2016, having previously worked for the housing and homelessness charity, Shelter. One of our Welfare and Wellbeing Team, Jo deals with grant applications and our sheltered homes.
Sarah Bower – Welfare & Wellbeing Officer
Sarah has a diverse background from teaching Sociology for eight years to working in an acute psychiatric hospital for a year. She joined our Welfare and Wellbeing Team in October 2016 and deals with our grant applications and sheltered homes.
Steph Hughes – Welfare & Wellbeing Officer
Steph joined the charity in April 2017, having previously worked for AGE UK, Barnardo’s and children’s services. Steph deals with our grant applications and sheltered homes.
Tracy Sawyer – Finance Assistant
Tracy joined the charity in March 2014 as a part-time Finance Assistant to Brigita Ac, our Finance Manager. Her career has spanned roles as a Tax Officer and working in purchase and ledger with companies, including British Airways. She is responsible for the day-to-day processing of purchase, sales, and general ledgers, as well as keeping financial records for our grants and sheltered housing schemes.
Our Home Managers:
Margaret Duff, Southwood Court
Margaret worked in administration for many years and with children before joining The Printing Charity. Being our Home Manager is not just a job, it is a way of life for Margaret, who has worked and lived on-site with her family at Southwood Court for over 30 years.
Kathy Senior – Beaverbrook House
Kathy manages the home’s day-to-day running, oversees residents’ wellbeing, and organises the residents’ activities programme. She has enjoyed a varied career that has included working in the Print Room at the Bank of America in the City of London. A member of the Salvation Army, Kathy was the Young People’s Sergeant Major and Leader of the Children’s Choir.
