They will undertake Chartered Institute of Marketing or similar training to solidify their skills and propel them to the next stages of their careers.
Gracia Scott
Gracia loves working in the inkjet print industry, sharing a great passion and hardworking ethos with others. As Marketing Assistant for Meteor Inkjet Ltd, she continues to be fascinated by Inkjet applications, and not just those using ink on paper, but new emerging markets from 3D printing to decorating products. She is also keen on helping her customers minimise their environmental impact. Gracia will now study with the CIM, embarking on a marketing diploma to learn about the impact of the digital revolution, and strengthening her data analytic skills.
Rachael Hunt
Rachael has had a varied career in marketing, from interning in New York City, to progressing within an agency environment for the past five years, where she was awarded Lincolnshire’s Young Business Person of the Year. Now the Creative Marketing Manager at Visual Print and Design, she is passionate about growing her expertise as a print marketer. Rachael will now complete a Mini MBA Marketing course to strengthen her knowledge and take her skills to the next level.
Sophie Jackson
A self-confessed organisational fan, Sophie has always preferred putting pen to paper and admired beautiful pieces of print. As Marketing and Communications Strategist at Tharstern, she holds responsibility for the business marketing as well as planning events and handling PR. The role is perfect for her, combining her passions for print and social engagement. She now looks to undertake a Level 6 Diploma in Digital Marketing to become an expert in her role and take on more responsibility.
Lucy Pullen
Always a passionate reader, Lucy is fascinated by the history of publishing, and excited by the way it has endeared. Starting her career at a local arts centre, she is now Marketing Executive at the Geological Society in Bath, working on a huge breadth of geology subjects. She looks forward to becoming a member of the CIM, and working more closely with her passion for books and marketing in the future.
Hannah Sothcott
Books have been a strong driving force for Hannah, from school book fairs and library visits, eventually leading her to graduating with a BA Hons in English Literature. She now works for Medina Publishing, creating real world change through her marketing. She is focused on publishing and representing marginalised voices, and is an avid reader and promoter of women’s fiction. Hannah aims to develop and strengthen her work through courses at the PTC, looking towards a senior marketing role.
