Congratulations to Ismail Mulla on his appointment to The Yorkshire Post

Following a year-long internship funded by The Printing Charity, Ismail has been appointed to The Yorkshire Post’s business desk.

He has dreamed of being a journalist since he was ten years old and is very proud to be joining the newspaper on a permanent basis.

Ismail says: “I would like to thank everyone involved with the Charity, particularly Stephen Gilbert who has shown great interest in my development and has frequently visited me in Yorkshire. I also want to extend my thanks to The Printing Charity’s Yorkshire Committee for driving this initiative, especially Gurdev Singh who backed my appointment and was on hand with additional support.

“Finally I want to extend my gratitude to everyone here at The Yorkshire Post, especially Bernard Ginns, the Business Editor, for having faith in me and guiding me with his extensive knowledge in business journalism, and Greg Wright, the Deputy Business Editor, for taking me under his wing over the past year.”

Bernard Ginns, Business Editor of The Yorkshire Post, adds: “I would like to thank The Printing Charity for developing this innovative and worthwhile project.”
