The Print Futures Awards are open for entries!

Press Release 16 January 2015

Cash grants of up to £1,500 each are available to help pay for any costs associated with relevant education or training courses for a career in printing, publishing or graphic arts in the UK. Entries close Friday, 29 May 2015.

The sponsors – The Printing Charity, Unite the Union GPM Sector, The John Crosfield Foundation, the British Printing Industries Federation (BPIF), and St Bride Foundation – are calling for entries to the 2015 Print Futures Awards.

The annual Print Futures Awards are open to anyone resident in the UK aged between 16 and 30 years who intends or is studying for a career in the UK printing, publishing or graphic arts sectors.

Stephen Gilbert, The Printing Charity’s Chief Executive, said: “Last year’s Awards attracted the highest number of applicants and winners since the scheme was launched in 2003.

“As well as helping the new generation enter the industry, we also welcome applications from people already working in print who would like to undertake short-term courses or training sessions to develop their skills.”
