Tanika Bartlett

Tanika Bartlett

A temporary placement at Saica Flex’s Buxton site in Derbyshire has turned into a career in the print sector for Tanika. Having worked her way up, she is now a customer service representative at the company and is undertaking a BPIF Customer Service Level 3 qualification. Although everyone comes across packaging daily, seeing the process from initial order to finished product intrigued her and she saw it as a chance to be part of something massive.
Sarah Gee

Sarah Gee

Trying new challenges played a big part in Sarah’s decision to join the packaging sector. As an apprentice in the Customer Service Team at Graphic Packaging International, she is learning about the sector, developing her skills to progress in her career, and enjoying job satisfaction. She likes seeing new designs being created to sell products and believes it was definitely a step in the right direction to try something completely different workwise.
Jordan Saunders

Jordan Saunders

Jordan has always been interested in design technology and using CAD software in a manufacturing environment has allowed him to have a more tangible understanding. He trained as a CAD programmer in his first 18 months at Arden Engraving, a supplier in the FMCG packaging sector. His role has expanded to include customer service and managing production but he still enjoys the technical aspect of the work he does as he finds it the most challenging.
Ross Darrell

Ross Darrell

Ross is very driven in his print career, a sector he has chosen to work in because he finds it incredibly fascinating. Being part of such a vital sector is what inspires him every day. A senior account executive at Bluetree Group, he values having a rapport with clients and receiving positive customer feedback gives him a sense of pride. Ultimately, he would like to be a director and help inspire other young people in the sector.
Robyn Whitehead

Robyn Whitehead

Robyn joined Instantprint, part of Bluetree Group, as a customer service advisor with no prior print knowledge. She has developed a passion for a sector she describes as intriguing, complex, and never boring. Print goes hand in hand with her painting and jewellery making. She is incredibly glad she chose to work in print, is committed as a senior advisor to mentoring her team and plans to develop her leadership skills to progress further in the sector.
George Rumball

George Rumball

George admits his aunt encouraged him into print but it helped him turn his life around and he has never looked back. He discovered that he loved the client-facing side of print and has gone on to work for some of the largest and most well-established print and marcomms businesses, learning and adapting his skill set. Now leading a team at Kall Kwik City, he provides print services to clients and intends to invest in his personal development by taking business-related training courses.
