These stars are responsible for the production of print and packaging across the UK, maintaining, operating and overseeing the presses and turning raw materials into a finished product. We are delighted to support them as they build their knowledge and work towards industry qualifications.

Siu Fan Lee

Siu Fan Lee

Siu Fan was in search of a career change and arrived at Bluetree Group with absolutely no prior print knowledge. He has become passionate about print management and process improvement within print’s production sector because no two days are ever the same. He has experienced the challenges and joys of achieving a perfect print run. Currently a production controller, he is keen to develop his project management skills to complement his technical skills and progress in his career.
Sean Kearnan

Sean Kearnan

Sean is super enthusiastic about his dream job as a minder at Graphic Packaging International. He was instantly intrigued by the print presses’ cut and crease machines and gluers when he joined the company 11 years ago and still takes great pride in seeing the packaging they produce when out shopping. His career has gone from strength to strength. He is currently studying for a Level 3 NVQ Carton Manufacture (Folding and Gluing) and loving it.
Jovahn Smithen

Jovahn Smithen

Jovahn has had a passion for engineering since he was at school and, after completing an electrical engineering apprenticeship at Bombardier, he joined Graphic Packaging International as a trainee engineer. He has found it to be the perfect job in the perfect industry for him because finding out how printing machines work fascinates him. He sees printing as a thriving, dynamic sector and one that he considers has given him an amazing career path.
Daniel Treece

Daniel Treece

Daniel’s print career complements his interest in arts, crafts, and design. He enjoys working on creative projects and receiving customers’ feedback. He started his print career as an apprentice at Piccolo Press in Scotland, gaining a Lithographic Printing Level 2 Qualification and a promotion to Lithographic Printer. Currently a print and mechanical technician at Baddeley Brothers, he plans to develop his soft skills to fulfil his ambition of becoming a team leader.
