Support from industry memberships

There are a wealth of membership organisations and associations out there representing those working in the print industry. Now more than ever, these networks are a great resource for useful information and discussions on topics affecting businesses in the current climate. Browse the list below to find out what help is available.

 

The IPIA are offering support to all members with briefing emails containing relevant information and updates on business related topics. Members can also sign up online to their webinar and e-learning schedule, running every week in April, which will cover subjects from HR and health & safety, through to specialised areas.

If you’re a business owner in the sector and are a member of the BPIF, you can access downloadable resources straight from their website. These cover information across HR & Legal, Business, Health & Safety, and working from home. Their industry news section also contains information relating to coronavirus including updates on the current status in the print industry during this time.

The British Coatings Federation have a dedicated coronavirus hub to ensure that members are kept up to date with the latest information and support available. Their website also has a useful section with resources on varying topics as well as external advice and FAQs. Check out the hub

Confederation of Paper Industries (CPI) represents the supply chain for all paper-based industries. The CPI are working closely with their members to support them during this period, offering advice on available support packages from the government. CPI’s Paper-based Industry specialists can be contacted on email through their website and you can read their statement here.

FESPA UK Association represent the interests of screen and digital wide format print service providers, industrial and specialist printers. They are offering support to their members with chat meetings and sharing ideas through their network online.

APCOM supports public sector Design, Print and Communication operations.  They assist Local Authorities, Public Services and Central Government who are engaged in print with digital copier type facilities to the larger litho print operations. The BAPC are here for those in the print and creative communication industry. They can provide help, guidance and support during this time to both individuals and businesses on email.
