Independent living

Be part of our sheltered home community

There are currently vacancies at our two purpose-built sheltered homes, Beaverbrook House in Bletchley and Southwood Court in Basildon. As a resident you’ll be living in your own one bedroom apartment with your own kitchen, living room and shower room.

Each home has a team on site providing help and support if needed, as well as a calendar of activities you can choose to take part in.

“We moved here after struggling in our former family home. We absolutely love it. We are still doing what we like to do, and live independently, while knowing there is a helping hand nearby.”

Resident, Southwood Court.

Our sheltered homes provide an affordable and safe community for people that have retired from the print, packaging, paper or publishing industry or have an immediate family connection to it. We prioritise new residents according to need, please see our criteria.

We know there’s a lot happening right now but register your interest in our sheltered homes, and when you are ready you can come visit us.
