Free, confidential helpline for employees and their immediate family
We are increasingly aware of the challenges people face at work and at home. Having someone to talk to is vital not only at a point of crisis, but hopefully before a crisis happens.
Our free information and advice service is designed to offer support for issues arising at home or at work. Available for employees and their immediate family members, all calls are confidential and handled by trained counsellors and advisors.
The helpline offers an opportunity to discuss problems away from the workplace, independent of the situation.

Emotional support
365 days a year, 24 hours a day, we offer counselling from Accredited Members of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy. All counsellors are background checked by Disclosure and Barring Service and have extensive experience.
We recognise that picking up the phone can often be a barrier, so you can also chat to someone online from 8am-10pm weekdays and 9am-5pm on weekends.
Practical support
Monday to Friday, 8am-8pm, you can access our Citizens Advice trained Information Specialists who can offer advice on other more practical issues such as:
- Childcare and family
- Housing
- Legal issues
- Changes at work
