The government is giving out various grants as part of a package to help with the cost of living, from council tax rebates to energy payments, so make sure you know what you’re eligible for on their website.

A budget planner can help you work out exactly how much money you have coming in and where it’s going, helping you to take control of your finances.
If you’re vulnerable and facing high energy bills, Ofgem priority services register may be able to help you with support.
If you’re overwhelmed with bills to pay, the Moneyhelper bill prioritiser can help you to figure out which of your bills is the most important to tackle first.
The Trussell Trust can help you to find your local food bank if you’re in need of a food parcel or essential household items. You’ll need a referral voucher before you’re able to get any supplies.
