Financial assistance

Because the unexpected can happen to anyone.

We were in a seriously difficult financial position, not knowing where to turn, but the Printing Charity was there for us.

Michael, Beneficiary

Our financial assistance is designed to help people facing hardship in affording everyday essentials and necessities. Whether you’re in work, looking for work, or in retirement, we may be able to help.

I thought, can I ask for this as I’ve never had to ask for money or receive support? But what has come back to me has far outweighed the anxiety of doing it in the first place, in terms of how much of a positive impact actually receiving the grant and the support has had.

Lydia, Beneficiary

Our experienced team take a rounded approach when looking at applications, and our support is more than financial, often signposting to specialist services.

If you or your immediate family have worked in print, paper, packaging, graphics or publishing, in the UK, for at least three years, which don’t need to be consecutive, contact us to see how we can help.

We are not able to use charitable funds for grants for private diagnosis or treatment of health conditions, but if you have any other financial support needs, please get in touch.

Below you can access our application form, guidance notes for applications, and BACS form for payments. You can also use the calculators to understand what benefits and other grants you could be entitled to.

We know everyone’s situation is unique, and we’re always happy to talk things through. Please don’t hesitate to get in touch.
