The Rising Star Awards champion young talent, the bright future of the print industry.
Every year, winners receive grants of up to £1,500 to invest in career development and grow their future potential in print.
Previous winners have worked in a wide range of roles in the print, packaging, paper, publishing and graphics sectors.
They’ve used their awards to fund a broad spectrum of training and development which has grown their skillsets, boosted their career opportunities, and brought new knowledge and capability into their workplaces.
Listen to our Stars talk about the positive impact of the Awards on their career.
All about our Rising Star Awards. What they are, who can apply and how the award can be used.
“I applied for funding to attend training courses to help solidify skills such as problem-solving and improvement, all of which are crucial with helping with my personal career goals and help me to become an inspired leader. The Rising Star Award was an amazing opportunity for me to be recognised as a young female working in print, and to develop my skills to help with my future in the industry.”
Chelsea Davis, Account Manager, Coveris
“I feel much more confident in my role after receiving my award. I used the grant to enrol on a PRINCE2 Practitioner course, and now, instead of relying solely on experience and intuition for developing processes and delivering projects, I have a bank of tools and frameworks I can use. I hope to be an industry leader, continuing to modernise the industry to be a more technology-driven and sustainable one.”
Tom Maskill, Sales & Marketing Director, Webmart
