Financial assistance
Because the unexpected can happen to anyone.
We’re experiencing high demand for financial assistance
Thank you for visiting the financial assistance pages of our website. We are currently receiving a larger number of applications than usual. Our team is working hard to review each one carefully, but this does mean it may take us a little longer than usual to respond.
Please be assured that every application matters to us, and we’ll be in touch as soon as we can about yours. We are grateful for your patience and understanding.
We were in a seriously difficult financial position, not knowing where to turn, but the Printing Charity was there for us.
Our financial assistance is designed to help people facing hardship in affording everyday essentials and necessities. Whether you’re in work, looking for work, or in retirement, we may be able to help.
How our funding could help

I thought, can I ask for this as I’ve never had to ask for money or receive support? But what has come back to me has far outweighed the anxiety of doing it in the first place, in terms of how much of a positive impact actually receiving the grant and the support has had.
Our experienced team take a rounded approach when looking at applications, and our support is more than financial, often signposting to specialist services.
If you or your immediate family have worked in print, paper, packaging, graphics or publishing, in the UK, for at least three years, which don’t need to be consecutive, contact us to see how we can help.
We are not able to use charitable funds for grants for private diagnosis or treatment of health conditions, but if you have any other financial support needs, please get in touch.
Below you can access our application form, guidance notes for applications, and BACS form for payments. You can also use the calculators to understand what benefits and other grants you could be entitled to.
We know everyone’s situation is unique, and we’re always happy to talk things through. Please don’t hesitate to get in touch.
