BPIF Excellence Awards

This year, for the first time, we were invited to run the charity prize draw at the BPIF Excellence Awards in June. The event was an ideal opportunity for us to promote our work.

The awards, which showcase the most innovative creative companies in print media for their work over the past 12 months, as well as their business acumen, attracted a record number of entries. Kathy Woodward, BPIF’s Chief Executive, said: “Excellence in business as opposed to excellence in printing is crucial for companies to stand out from the crowd.”

Charles Thomas of RK Harrison Insurance Services Ltd won the first raffle prize of a helicopter ride for two from Red Letter Days. His response was: “Fantastic night topped off by a great prize, well done guys!”

The second prize of an iPod Touch was won by Danny Couchman of The Guardian. He described it as “a great prize for my son. A wonderful night with some wonderful people, thanks to BPIF for introducing us to some nice people!”

Steve Waller from the BPIF won the third prize of two tickets to any county match from the Surrey Cricket Club. He declared: “I like cricket, but my partner is not as keen, so her uncle, who is 85 and lives near the Oval, will be overjoyed to have these as a gift!”

Fourth prize of Cire Trudon candles was won by Amy Hutchinson, also from the BPIF.
